How we work
Small team, real ownership
Fully remote
Work from where you do your best work. We hire across time zones and keep a few hours of overlap.
Written, async by default
Decisions live in docs and pull requests, so no one has to be in every meeting to know what's going on.
You own outcomes
Each person owns a part of the product or the business end to end, from idea to the result.

hello@datahashi.comThe role
You'll be our first go-to-market hire. You'll own how data teams hear about datahashi, why they try it, and what turns a self-hosted trial into a paid plan. You'll work directly with the founders and with engineering, so what you learn from customers changes the product.
What you'll do
- Talk to data leaders every week and turn what you hear into positioning, messaging and the next quarter's plan.
- Run pilots end to end: qualify, scope, set success criteria, and close.
- Build the pipeline from the self-hosted community, content, partners and outbound.
- Write and ship launch posts, case studies and comparison pages with the team.
- Set up the CRM, metrics and the simple processes we need to grow without guessing.
What you'll bring
- Several years in sales, GTM or founding-team roles at a B2B software company.
- You've sold to data teams, engineers or other technical buyers and enjoy it.
- Clear, plain writing, in English or across languages.
- Comfort working on your own in a small team, with no playbook to follow yet.
Nice to have
- Experience with data tools: warehouses, BI, dbt or semantic layers.
- You've sold in Japan or the wider APAC region.
- You've helped grow an open-source or product-led company.

hello@datahashi.comThe role
Agents ask datahashi for metrics through our API and MCP server. You'll make that path accurate, fast and safe, from how an agent finds the right metric to how we test that its answer matches the dashboard. You'll ship to production and own what you build.
What you'll do
- Build and improve the agent interfaces: the MCP server, tool definitions and API responses agents read.
- Design evals that check agent answers against the governed metric, and run them on every change.
- Help agents choose the right metric and filters from a plain-language question.
- Work on the query engine and runner where agent use needs it: caching, limits, row-level security.
- Write docs and examples that let customers connect their own agents in minutes.
What you'll bring
- Strong software engineering in TypeScript, Go or Python, with production systems behind you.
- Hands-on work building with LLMs: tool use, agents, retrieval or evals.
- Good SQL, and a feel for how analytics data is modelled.
- You test what you build and care when a number is wrong.
Nice to have
- Experience with MCP or building developer tools.
- Background with semantic layers, BI tools or warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Postgres.
- Open-source work you can show us.
